Iowa Film Incentives Must spend at least $100,000 in Iowa to be eligible. * Transferable Iowa income tax credit based on 25% of qualified in-state expenditures to go to 'investor' *Tranferable Iowa income tax credit based on 25% of qualified in-state expenditures to go to 'producer' * 100% income exclusion to Iowa-based companies or Iowa resident individuals for monies earned from registered projects. Colorado Film Incentives Must spend at least $1,000,000 in Colorado to be eligible if companie is based out-of-state. *May rebate up to 10% of the cost of producing a film, documentary or television program when that project is produced and filmed in Colorado and spends at least 75 percent of total below-the-line expenditures and 75 percent of total payroll in Colorado. Minnesota Film Incentives Must have a budget of at least $200,000 and at least 60% must be spent in Minnesota. Snowbate, Minnesota's production incentive, is back and better than ever. Snowbate is a reimbursement of up to 15% of your Minnesota production expenditures available to feature films, national TV series, commercials, documentaries and music videos. Missouri Film Incentives Must spend at least $100,000 for films more than 30 minutes in length and at least $50,000 for films less than 30 minutes in length. *35 percent of the amount expended in Missouri for production or production-related activities to facilitate film production in Missouri South Dakota Film Incentives *Lodging accommodations are taxed at the 4 percent state sales tax rate, plus city tax rate and a 1 percent tourism tax. For both state and city tax, the room is exempt from tax if rented for 28 consecutive days.
